General License Terms
What You CAN Do
- Use the beat for your own songs and recordings
- Release music on streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
- Perform the song live at concerts and shows
- Upload to YouTube and social media
- Sell your song on iTunes, Amazon Music, etc.
- Use for content creation (within license limits)
What You CANNOT Do
- Resell, give away, or redistribute the beat itself
- Claim you produced or created the beat
- Register the beat with a PRO as your composition
- Use for hate speech, illegal, or defamatory content
- Transfer the license to another person (except Exclusive)
- Exceed the stream/download limits of your license tier
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens when I exceed my license limits?
If you exceed the streams or downloads in your license, you'll need to upgrade to a higher tier or purchase an additional license. We recommend the Unlimited Lease if you anticipate high streaming numbers.
Can I get my money back if I don't use the beat?
Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final once the beat has been downloaded. Please preview beats carefully before purchasing.
Do I need to credit PC Beatz?
For all non-exclusive leases, credit is required in the song title, description, or credits (e.g., 'Prod. by PC Beatz'). Exclusive purchases do not require credit.
Can someone else buy the exclusive after I purchased a lease?
Yes, beats remain available for lease until someone purchases the exclusive rights. If an exclusive is sold, your lease remains valid for its term, but the beat will be removed from the store.
How do I receive my files after purchase?
After payment confirmation, you'll receive an email with download links for all files included in your license tier. Downloads are available immediately.
Can I use beats for sync licensing (TV, Film, Ads)?
Sync licensing requires special negotiation. Please contact us directly to discuss sync opportunities and pricing.
